Maggie Monday.

Team MM has been busy… Our latest donation of $100,000 to Dr. Alex Kentsis of Memorial Sloan Kettering and MSK kids has helped further the important research to find cures and better treatment options for MRT and all pediatric cancers. We are incredibly grateful to be making such a huge impact in the race to find cures. And speaking of finding cures, our delectable S’mores for More kits are officially available online for purchase! Scroll below for more info.

We are now a proud Member Agency of the Townwide Fund of Huntington, who awarded us with a $5,000 grant which will help us continue to help local families affected by pediatric cancer.

J. McLaughlin of Huntington, long time supporters of MM, hosted a Sip & Shop fundraising event in September. Thank you.

Stop & Shop has chosen Maggie’s Mission to be a part of their Community Bag Program for September and October. If you shop at Stop & Shop, you can ask that Maggie’s Mission be considered as their chosen charity. Every dollar raised counts!

We were super excited to be a part of the Long Island Fall Festival in Heckscher Park in Huntington on Columbus Day weekend. Check out our the interview below… Next year, we are planning to be an even larger part of the Festival with an exciting fundraising event so stay tuned.

Thank you to Identity Digital for the interview and video clip. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

Maggie’s Mission is once again an official charity partner for the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon on Sunday, March 19th, 2023! We have 10 bibs available (5 more than last year - woo hoo!) and they’re going fast. Get updates by following our social channels.

Saturday night, we fed our 36th meal to families staying at Ronald McDonald House in NYC, where we were once guests. We recognize the importance of not having to pay for meals while a child is in treatment in NYC. The costs add up quickly. We’re proud to be to have filled almost 2,000 tummies since 2017. It’s one less thing families have to worry about.

RMH-NY writes… “Thanks so much to you and your team. We are so lucky to have you as friends of the House.”

We’ll never forget you Father Time, how could we? But from time to time, it’s good to switch things up a bit and so we are reimagining our New Year’s Day Maggie’s Mile with a S’mores for More Sunset Run at Sunken Meadow State Park slated for fall 2023. Tentative dates include Saturday, September 30th, and Saturday, October 7th, so pencil us in on your calendar. It’ll be the most exciting and fun race yet, we promise.

Now available for purchase! Your favorite childhood snack now gives back. We are extremely proud of our S’mores for More kits that support pediatric cancer research and are now available online! With the Holidays just around the corner, these super sweet treats make the perfect stocking stuffer, teacher gifts, and s’more.

Dan Pashman of The Sporkful has this to say about them… “This is a special s’more. It’s a S’mores for More. Heart shaped chocolate, marshmallow, AND a softer graham cracker… mmm… OMG! Great cause and great s’more!”
