Founded 5 years ago today!
Cheers to five years!
Today is our fifth anniversary of helping children and their families affected by pediatric cancers, in honor of Miss Maggie’s wish to help save kids. While Maggie may be gone physically, her spirit lives on through us and all of our supporters. She is the driving force behind everything we do.
Research that will help save lives.
Although survival rates have increased, cures and treatment options for rare cancers, like Maggie had, still have poor statistical outcomes. Since our founding, we’ve funded critical research to find cures. On this day, we are sending out a check to MSK Kids for $100,000, bringing our total number of funding (not including grants) to $1,025,000. It’s a proven fact, research saves lives.
Partnerships that spread hope.
Maggie’s Mission continues to feed children and families staying at Ronald McDonald House in NYC. More than 2,000 tummies filled since 2017.
We’re also super excited for a S’mores for More partnership with the Sunrise Association “Dare to Dream” benefit, on Wednesday, November 16th at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. Sunrise Association’s Mission is to bring back the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings both locally, and worldwide, with inclusive summer day camps, year-round programs and in-hospital recreational activities, all offered free of charge.
Maggie had hopes of attending their camp but tragically passed away before getting the chance.
